Flame retardant 193

Flame retardant 193 is a phosphorus-based environmental protection flame retardant, which is widely used in chemical fiber flame retardant finishing or flame retardant additives in various adhesives. It is widely used in flame retardant finishing of decorative fabrics such as automobiles and airplanes. After finishing, the fabric does not frost and has a low degree of fogging. It can be used in conjunction with powder flame retardants such as flame retardant PD for water-based coating adhesives.

Good thermal stability, low volatility and good compatibility with most polymer compounds;

Environmentally friendly, free of heavy metals and halogens, and other O-Tex prohibited substances;

The flame retardant can be used alone or combined with a binder as a semi-washable flame retardant for synthetic fibers or blended;

Add a small amount of fixation, it has excellent flame retardant effect;

Application examples and suggested recipes:

1) 300G/M2 PP polypropylene felt or PET polyester felt

Liquid entrainment rate of fabric: 50%

Flame Retardant 193: 6-12%

SBR/butadiene rubber: 65%

Water: 23-25%

2) 100G/M2 PET polyester, vertical blinds according to DIN 4102 B1

Liquid entrainment rate of fabric: 120%

Flame Retardant 193: 6-12%

PVDC (polyvinylidene chloride): 89%

3) 120G/M2 PET polyester fiber, waterproof finish, in line with CSERF 1/75

Liquid entrainment rate of fabric: 60%

Flame retardant 193: 8--10%

Water repellent: 3%

Water: 87%

Flame Retardant 193: 4-12%

Due to the different types and structures of cloth, it is not recommended to use more than 15%. Excessive dosage may cause the cloth surface to be dry or even greasy. Before production, a small test must be done to confirm the final formula.

Suggested formula of environmentally friendly water-based flame retardant adhesive:

Water-based adhesive solid content (40%-50%)

Flame retardant 193 2.0-10.0%, flame retardant PD or other powder flame retardant 20.0-24.0%, thickener (appropriate viscosity)

Note: The total amount of flame retardant is 20%--30%, and the effect is remarkable. Different types of water-based adhesives, the proportion and dosage of flame retardants should be adjusted.

Product packaging:

70kg/plastic bucket, sealed and protected from light, storage period is 12 months at -5-30°C.
